More Items Added to Silent Auction

Greetings silent auction bidders!  As of this posting we have over 135 items for your shopping pleasure.  Fall Fiesta is a great place to find holiday gifts, plus you'll be helping Monte del Sol students travel to Oaxaca or Tokyo.  Fantastic deals always abound at this much anticipated event.

The Framed Art preview has just been updated.  There are also over a dozen gift certificates from local restaurants and massage therapists, books and other goodies that didn't make it into the previews.

Bring your friends and family, enjoy good food, entertainment, fun and games -- we'll see you there!

How to Find the Auction Preview

A few people have mentioned that they weren't able to find the auction preview page, so here are better instructions.

On this page, look at the left side menu under "Useful Links".  Click on "PTA Documents".  This will take you to our Google documents site.

Once there, look at the left side menu again and click on "Fall Fiesta 2009 Auction Preview".  This will open the document that contains pictures and allow you to page through.  If you have problems navigating to it or opening it, please email mdsptaprez@gmail.com.

Want to bid on a large item but not sure how you'll get it home?  Our friends at Mountain Moving and Storage here in Santa Fe will deliver it to you for only $75 within a 20-mile radius of Monte del Sol.  If you live outside that radius, give them a call at 505-471-9000 to make arrangements.

Silent Auction Preview is Here!

Fall Fiesta 2009 promises to be a good one.  Our first planning meeting was held on August 29, and the next one will be Tuesday, September 1 at 5:30 p.m. in the Gathering Space.  Please consider attending as we still need volunteers to man game booths and donate baked goods for the cake walk and desserts.  We have started collecting items for silent auction -- everything from gift certificates, art, clothing, furniture, jewelry, and accessories.  More donations are welcome.

As promised . . . a preview of silent auction items is now available.  Check it out under "Useful Links" on the left.  Send the link to your friends, family and co-workers.  We'd love for them to come -- the more the merrier to help our students go to Tokyo and Oaxaca!

Fall Fiesta - October 3 - Super Fun for Families

Wow!  2009 is almost over.  Not long ago we were celebrating the start of summer, and now we've hit the ground running on a brand new school year.  Fall Fiesta is Monte's first big event, celebrating harvest time, autumn and the coming of Halloween.  Bring your family, invite your co-workers and neighbors because there's something for everyone:  an excellent haunted house, superb silent auction, games, prizes, music and a dunk booth.  We will serve Northern New Mexico comfort foods as well as pizza (for those who just aren't into red or green).  Proceeds go toward trip scholarships for Monte students traveling to Tokyo and Oaxaca this year.
